There are many types of delicious cake to choose from. Some classics are Red velvet, Coconut, and Chocolate chip cookie. Below are four of my personal favorites:
Carrot cake
You can make a wonderful carrot-based cake for your family and friends. The recipe is very easy to make and does not require a mixer. The easiest way to shred the carrots is to use a box grater with the second largest holes. You can also grate the carrots by hand, but the process is much faster and more convenient if you have a food processor. Watch the video to learn how to make the perfect carrot cake!
Chocolate chip cookie cake
This decadent dessert is the perfect combination of chocolate chips and moist cake. Instead of using an entire egg, substitute the yolk for an extra. To make it ultra-soft, add cornstarch to the batter. It bakes up like a dream and tastes even better. The best part about it is that it freezes beautifully! Read on to find out how to make this delicious treat. The whole family will love it!
Red velvet cake
If you love red velvet cake, you will love Deb’s recipe for this delicious dessert. It is deep red and moist, but doesn’t have hard edges. It also has a velvety texture thanks to the addition of cocoa and coffee, which intensify the chocolate flavor. You can top the cake with a rich cream cheese frosting, which adds even more flavor and moisture. After baking, place the red velvet cake in the refrigerator to cool faster. When you’re ready to serve it, level the layers with a serrated knife.
Coconut cake
A delicious coconut cake will satisfy all of your baking needs. Coconut extract and shredded coconut are key ingredients in this recipe. Using sweetened shredded coconut will give your cake even more flavor and texture. The egg whites should be room temperature before you begin mixing them into the batter. Egg yolks weigh down a cake and can be used in other recipes. You can also use sour cream instead of cream cheese spread for added moisture.
Oreo cake
If you want to make a tasty birthday cake for your kid, an Oreo cake is the perfect choice. This simple cake is perfect for any occasion, and will delight both adults and kids alike. This recipe comes with three sizes to choose from: mini, regular, and giant. The cake is baked in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes, and a toothpick inserted in the middle should come out clean with a few moist crumbs attached. The cake should cool completely in the pan before assembly and decorating. If you want to make a special frosting for the cake, you can use 1 cup of chocolate frosting. Then, cream the butter and cream cheese in an electric mixer or stand mixer until the consistency is smooth. Add the Oreo crumbs and mix again until everything is incorporated, and then pipe on top of the cake.
Pumpkin bundt cake
If you’re in the mood for a delicious dessert, you’ll want to make this pumpkin bundt cake. It’s rich, moist and incredibly easy to make. In fact, it’s a great choice for Thanksgiving! Pumpkin is a natural seasonal ingredient that has many health benefits. The season’s first fall squash is also a delicious choice for a holiday treat. And, it’s now even easier to make!
Pina Colada cake
This light and fluffy tropical dessert is made with coconut rum, pineapple, and toasted coconut. It is very easy to make, and its light and fluffy texture will please everyone! Make it at home for your next celebration! To make a Pina Colada cake, pre-heat oven to 350°F. Prepare three six-inch cake rounds, and prepare rum emulsion. Pour the rum mixture over the cake rounds, and bake in the oven.
